A.k.a. Skootie

Purebred Rottweiler

We never told Skooter what he is.  Plain and simple.  As far as he knows, he’s a lap dog.  No, really.  Skooter, now officially 10 years old, occupies a place of high esteem on the farm:  right next to the driveway.  That way, no matter who comes or goes, Skootie gets to meet them. 

 

Age is beginning to show itself on our boy.  With worn teeth and growing hearing loss, he’s not quite a quick as he used to be, and getting up from a good nap isn’t always as tempting as it once was.  However, true to his name, Skooter still spends his days scooting his “stick” around his pen.
