Text Box: Studmuffin, extraordinaire...

Biscuit. Period.

Mini Horse

At only 30” tall, Biscuit is our smallest equine.  However, he is a legend in his own mind.  He will take on the baddest of opponents—going head to head with Buster Brown, chasing Billy the Goat or Newman the Sheep through the field, trying to chew through the fence to kill Tuff or Cisco—it’s all in a day’s work.

Biscuit is also a veteran of parades and petting appearances.  However, unlike Newman, Biscuit believes his own press.

Misty

Mini Horse

Misty is  a 35” silver dapple—a rare beauty, for sure.  It was more than obvious when we got her that, like Scarlett, Misty had little or no human contact.  After owning her for little more than a year, she has accepted her new family  well and is right at home, now.  Time is a small price to ask for trust.

Newcomers!

Mini Horses

With the advent of spring, our mini herd has grown.  Recently, we acquired two new pairs of minis—a mother/daughter team and a mother/son team.  Their pictures and bios are below, and we are looking forward to getting to know them and for them to get acquainted and become comfortable with us.

Left:  This is “Jasper”, at 3-weeks.  He’s a paint mini colt with a sweeter-than-sweet, independent personality.  He is a leggy little guy, and loves to spend his afternoons lying in the hay ring taking a nap in the sunshine.

Below:  Jasper and mom, Ruby, a day after coming to our farm.  They currently reside in the nursery area.

NOTE: Jasper will be offered for sale NOVEMBER 1, 2008.

Right:  This is TigerLily, or “Lily”, for short, and her mom—whom we have yet to  name.  Lily is a year old.  Although she started off a bit on the shy side, Lily’s curiosity gets the best of her, and as a result, she becomes your friend.  Sunny, Lily’s mom will take a while to trust people.  In the meantime, her new colt, Gus (below—born on Aug. 3, 2008) will make FAST friends!
